 It was a necessity that we come due to Visa limits, not my visa credit card, but the immigration regulations for a US citizen in the EU. November was filled with Raffaellesco projects, the biggest being the modification of the Bimini. We brought the canvas home and, after much thought, sliced and diced it. The goal was to cut it back so that we had better visibility of the sails when underway. We then made an insert to fill the gap when we were at anchor or at the dock. We will know if we succeeded in a couple weeks. There has been an on going process of  monitoring progress on projects left behind for others to complete; pickle the water maker, connect the digital engine read out to the Raymarine instruments, keeping the boat clean, tune the rig and a few warranty items. As always there were few things to buy that we could not source in Europe, here West Marine and Amazon are my best friends. Boat projects gave way to the holidays with lots of celebrations.
